I’m Loved

It’s one of the simplest truths to say.

And, some days, one of the hardest to believe.I’m loved. Not just tolerated.

Not just accepted because I’m useful.

Not just welcomed when I perform well, say the right things, or smile at the right time. No—I’m loved.

Period.

Before I produce.

After I mess up.

Even when I don’t believe I deserve it.

The Head Knows, The Heart Struggles

Maybe you’ve grown up hearing it: “Jesus loves you.”

You can quote the verses. You know the songs. You can encourage other people with it.But when it comes to believing it for yourself?

When you’re sitting in the silence with nothing to prove and everything exposed?

It gets harder. That’s because there’s a gap between knowing something and living like it’s true.

And love—real love—isn’t just a statement. It’s a lifeline.

The World Gives Conditional Love

The world says,

  • Be impressive.
  • Be polished.
  • Be productive.
  • Be liked.

And then… maybe… you’ll be loved. But the love of God starts from the inside and moves outward.

Not because you earned it.

But because He is love—and He chose you.

I’m Loved on My Worst Day

Here’s the part I come back to, again and again:

God’s love for me doesn’t change when I fall apart. On the days I’m short with people I care about…

When I’m doubting more than I’m believing…

When I’m tired, moody, distant, or disconnected…I’m still loved. And so are you. That’s not a soft message. That’s a strong one.

Because love that holds steady when I’m falling apart? That’s the kind that changes everything.

No Strings Attached

I’m not loved because I’m good at what I do.

I’m not loved because I help people.

I’m not loved because I wrote something encouraging or served someone well.

I’m not loved because I checked all the spiritual boxes.I’m loved because I’m His.

Because He knit me together.

Because He’s a Father who runs down the road to meet the prodigal before the apology speech is even finished.

This Changes Everything

When I remember that I’m loved, I live differently.I breathe deeper.

I stop striving.

I stop managing people’s perceptions of me and start receiving the peace that only comes from being fully seen and fully embraced.I become less reactive and more rooted.

Less afraid and more available.

Less pressured and more present.Because loved people live loved.

Maybe You Need This Reminder Too

If today feels heavy…

If shame is whispering too loud…

If you’re wondering if you’ve gone too far, failed too many times, or simply feel numb to the whole idea of God’s love—Let this be your reminder:You’re loved.

Not the cleaned-up version of you.

Not the one who finally gets it right.

You. As you are. Right now.You don’t have to earn it.

You just have to receive it.And maybe—today—you start with just whispering it back to yourself:“I’m loved.”—John
